Lappland Sami camp knife – 8.43 inch blade – Birch handle
by Helle – 129.95 – An official Helle stockist since 2011 The Helle philosophy of Built to Last is reflected in all of their knife products. By opting for traditional craftsmanship rather than the usual high production low quality methods used by other manufacturers Helle of Norway produce exceptional knives that are actually designed to be used even though they look pretty pleasing to the eye ! The unique triple laminated steel that Helle use for all their blades ensures a lasting razor sharp edge with excellent protection from breakage and corrosion. This process makes a more expensive steel but Helle insist on not comprimising on quality in any aspect of the knife creation. Even the materials used for the knife handles and leather sheaths are carefully selected to ensure the process of grinding polishing and oiling is performed to maximum benefit of the product.
